If you are craving something sweet and want to make home made cookies, here is an easy recipe that gives some wonderful results. This recipe is inspired from Chef Sanjyot Keer’s signature eggless chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients
- Unsalted butter (melted) 100 grams
- White sugar: ½ cup
- Brown sugar: ½ cup
- Water 2 tbsp
- Oil: 1 tsp
- Baking powder: 1 tsp
- Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
- Refined flour: 1 cup
- Corn flour: 1 tbsp
- Baking soda: 2 tsp
- Salt: a pinch
- Dark chocolate: 1 bar (Amul 55 percent is a good bet)
Method

- In a large bowl melt the butter – 30 seconds in a microwave does the job.
- Now mix the white and brown sugar with the butter using a hand whisk.
- In another bowl mix the water, oil, and baking powder.
- Add this mixture and vanilla essence into the butter-sugar and mix everything well.
- Take a sieve and place over the wet ingredients bowl.
- Add flour, corn flour, baking soda, and salt through the sieve.
- Now mix everything well.
- Chop the dark chocolate into small chunks and add to the dough.
- Place the dough in the fridge for an hour. Pre heat the oven.
- Shape into balls and place them on a baking tray leaving place for them to spread.
- Bake at 175°C for 10 to 12 minutes and remove and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Notes

- Make sure you do not overmix or stir the mixture too aggressively
- You can use any other chocolate that is suitable for you
- You can also use homemade chocolate
