Winters made warm and delightful with Khandani Rajdhani’s winter menu

Dining at Rajdhani, one of India’s favourite restaurants’ is always a pleasure. The best part about Rajdhani for me is its authentic vegetarian food that is not only delectable but the fact that the restaurant has a special focus on seasonal foods. Apart from the usual delicacies, Rajdhani always comes up with rotating menus that are based on foods and ingredients available per the different seasons.  After all, traditional Indian cuisine is based on the premise that our diet needs to be tweaked accrding to seasonal changes which is essential for good health and well being.

The seasonal special this winter from Rajdhani is a truly a delight for all vegetarian food lovers.  Prepared with winter’s freshest vegetables, the delicacies include the Sarson ka Saag with Makai Rotla and Kesar Jalebi among several others.  Giving a winter twist to arbi, is Sukhi Arbi with piping hot Jeera Parathas.  Other specialities perfect for the cold are the Surti Undhiyu with puri and my favourite, the sumptuous,  Haldi Nu Shaak which is prepared from fresh turmeric.

If you love greens, dig right into the Lilva Dana Sabji with Jowar Rotla that’s both, tasty and healthy.  Perfect for the weather are also some unique sweets like the Soonth Ladoo and the Sukhdi Ladoo as well as the all time favorite Gajar ka Halwa.
