Having a delectable lunch at the hotel’s the 24 hour multi-cuisine restaurant “My café” was indeed time well spent last week.  The café offers all kinds of cuisine including Oriental and continental with buffet and a la carte formats.  The décor which is contemporary is inviting with classy lights and pleasant hues.  The buffet is a sumptuous spread with a great variety of salads and starters to choose from.  The main course also offers a lot of options for the discerning palate.  As the say ‘save the best for the last’, make sure you leave some space to sample their exotic dessert spread that includes traditional Indian sweets as well as absolutely tasty cakes, pastries and puddings.

The menu at My café offers a selection ranging from Oriental, India, European, South Asian and more and takes new trends from across cuisines and adds an innovative twist.

Headed by chef Sachin Talwar’s able team, the hotel regularly has food festivals during which they experiment with flavors and create unusual ‘fusion’ options.  The latest one they had was “Tangra” which combined the ‘tangy’ with the ‘traditional’ and served a blend of Chinese and Kolkata cuisine.  Though such festivals last usually for a week, some of these ‘creations’ are incorporated in the main menu if they prove really popular.  Chef Sachin is always wearing his creative hat to curate exquisite dishes with the Indian touch and by using the local produce.  The ‘baked rasagulla’ is one of such ideas.  Likewise the traditional carrot halwa has been wrapped in a straddle and served with rabri.

My Indian Oven is the hotel’s second gourmet restaurant that serves authentic Indian fare.
